YUCO – eDNA

YUCO-eDNA is equipped with an eDNA filter for collecting environmental samples to identify various living beings that live in or have passed through the sampled environment.. This is a non-invasive biodiversity monitoring technique for natural environments and species. It comes with a DVL, to compensate current drift, improve positioning and keep altitude from the sea floor.

Specifications

Equipment Filter + system to pump and measure the filtered flow.
Pumping Method Activation or non-activation of pumping according to mission steps, with pumping speed adjustment between 0 and 0.75 L/min. Pumping system with the AUV, including a sealed motor and a flowmeter (in option).
Filter System Single-use filter system including Spygen filter and sterilized tubes.
Use Changing the filter assembly is made easier by a notch with a cover giving direct access to the components to be changed.
Data Flow data (if flowmeter option) recorded and extracted in the mission report.
